I have finally acquired permission to hunt another section of timber along the river I have been trying for 6 years. It is about 350 acres of untouched timber the only way to access it is by canoe. It has not been hunted in over 15 years. Needless to say I am a little excited!
Its not the size of the animal you hunt that matters. Its how you hunt the animal.

Just finished up my first scouting trip only to find trails every where. Hung one stand on a place with 4 different intersecting trails and picked out a few more spots that I can get in with my climber. Season opens here in under two weeks so I did not want to trample all over it being so close to season. I'll let ya know how it goes!
