Where can one find "Lavalin"?

Thanx

If your boots stink, put them in the freezer for a couple of days. It works by killing the bacteria, but won't stop the problem from reoccurring.

Certain Dri is what you want. If you have really sweaty armpits, it's the only thing that works.

I use the regular Certain Dri roll on liquid, but they do make a Certain Dri Feet.

I apply it to my feet a few days prior to a hunt, let it dry and it lasts for days.

Be careful with the regular Certain Dri, it's not your typical anti-persperant. It can cause burning and stinging if directions aren't followed or you use too often.

I don't know about the sweaty part, but if you walk barefoot on concrete for a ways every now and then you can grind off some of the old stinky callous off your feet and they will tend not to stink as much. I myself, have found if that concrete is hot enough to cook your feet on the walk home, it works even better.

You folks are not spelling the product right. It's LAVILIN. Google it up. I've used it as needed for 25 plus years. They have both a foot and under arm formula. Basically it's an all natural anti-bacterial cream. Shower/bathe then rub it ON your skin (not necessary to rub it IN) on the bottoms of your feet and between the toes then go to bed. The next AM shower as normal and you're good to go. Several comments, the results depend somewhat on your body chemistry and can last for weeks. Don't expect it to work well if you continue to use old, smelly, rotten shoes. Try the stuff plus clean socks and shoes/boots and you'll be impressed. Google it up and read the reviews. I also use it for the glands behind our ears during hunting seasons. P.S. this is NOT a paid endorsement. BW

Change your socks to the silver lined kind, cabelas has them, won't stop sweating but will stop the smell

Barry,

What department store/drug store can I buy Lavilin?

Thanx

Mojostick

Just an FYI, Lavilin will do nothing for the perspiration if excessive, just the odor in some people. If you have problem sweaty feet, pardon the pun but you'll walk thru lavilin. Much of the discomfort of sweaty feet is the issues after the socks are soaked, not the odor.

Those of us with serious armpit/feet issues who've asked Dr's about it usually get the same response-Certain Dri. But follow the isntructions because you can burn the skin if you don't. This isn't Arrid extra dry or your wife's Secret. It was RX anti-perspirant.

Certain Dri used to be RX strength anti-perspirant 12% aluminum chloride. The aluminum chloride stops the sweat from ever occuring, not a treatment after the sweat has occured.

Feel free to try whatever, but I've been there, done that. If you want to stop the sweat from uccuring in the first place, try Certain Dri.

You can find Lavilin in some natural/health food stores or you can order it at dozens of places via the internet. One little jar will last you a LONG time. BW

Hey Barry, didn't Gene write something once about using alum to stop foot perspiration? Or was that a strange dream I had? Lol

I work at an airport.  Two weeks ago the security checkpoint out of my office smelled really badly.  The TSA folks were spraying and i asked what was up.  They said a guy with smelly feet.  One of you responsible?  Darn that would gag a maggot on a gut wagon
