Anybody have tips on sharpening Magnus 2-blade (non-serrated) Stinger broadheads without a KME or other sharpening system?

Thanks in advance!

Skychief.

Magnus recommends using an accusharp sharpening tool. I have used them and they work pretty good and they are easy to use.

If all else fails, send them in for a full replacement. You'll get new, sharp ones back.

I use sandpaper and a flat surface  Get down to about 1500-2000 grit

The AccuSharp is pretty economical and try to find a good deal on a stop and you will be able to shave with them, I have a KME and I use either my accusharp or another carbide sharpner over it, just is faster, the angles on the accusharp match the factory angles of the Stingers. My other carbide sharpner has less steep angles and seems to put a good edge on quicer and I think it is a more durable edge, my broadheads are popping hairs sharp

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

I don't see any reason you couldn't use a good file, and then something finer for finishing.

Just get an accusharp. They are 10 dollars at ACE. It takes about 30 seconds to sharpen , and you can shave when you are done.  I like sharpening things, all things, so I use files, stones, diamond sticks etc. for alot of my stuff just because it's relaxing.  But with that said I use my accusharp alot simply because it WORKS, and works FAST.

Wheelie worked for me. Actually the only thing I have found it doesn't work on is the Zwickey bleeders but they are easy anyway. Even single bevel Grizzly's and my 3bld VPA's work well.

This stuff ain't no rocket surgery science!

Worksharp knife and tool sharpener.  Saw one in action today.  It was impressive.

W/o a system I'd recommend a 3-sided diamond stick.  Coarse, med, fine.  The accusharps never impressed me.

For those that use and like the accusharp, what kind of pressure are you using with it?

stevewills

i sue a paper wheel to sharpen those and muzzy phantoms, ten secs.and done
i like biscuits

Medley... light pressure with the Accusharp.

Personally the Stinger would have to be pretty dam dull before I used anything more aggressive than a crock stick or jewel stick.

I just light strokes with a fine/extra fine diamond stone.

Just saw a tv ad for edge of glory.  Essentially an accusharp that suctions to the counter top.

I could see how a 2blade can be sharpened with the worksharp sharpener... maybe a 3blade can be with just the belt and no guard?

Yes.  Some 3 blades might fit the guard, but it would definitely work with the guard off.  The guy I watched sharpened a small shovel with it.

You will not be able to sharpen a 2 blade head on the Work Sharp with the guide in place because the ferrule will not allow you to insert the head all the way to the back of the blade.  I have a friend who just bought one and that was his comment.  I then checked them out at a local store and found he was right.  Saved me about $90.
