How many have shot these bows? What did you guys think of them? How does the grip feel? Thanks for any input! If you have any pics feel free to post them!

I really like the risers with the recurve style grip. I own several. Smooth draw, quiet, no hand shock, and one of the fastest bows available.

If you don't want a FAST, smooth bow. That casts a heavy arra with authority. Don't buy one !!    I have 3..

I have shot it side by side with Centaur, the Centaur is same speed, but smoother and quieter. The Centaur however is very light in the hand, so if you want something with more mass and need a take down, it would be the next best thing.

Great longbows, I have shot just about every longbow out there and that is the best one I have found, I have owned a few, I like the standard grip 14" riser the best due yourself a favor and shoot every bow you can everyone is different I thought I was set on the acs until I picked up a tall tines recurve

I had a prototype for a while.....and it was a shooter for sure.  And the 1st carbon bow I'd shot that was not loud....or have that little 'ping ring' as I call it.  I liked the grip.

I killed the biggest boar I've shot to date with it....

Does John Havard own it now? I like John. Good guy.

John Havard is no longer with A&H Archery. He is now working with Dryad bows which now offers the ACS longbow limb design as well as the new ACS recurve limb that John had been working on and tweaking the past several years.

I have arthritis in my hands(most of my joints) and this bow is a pleasure to shoot, very very little to NO hand shock to speak of. Do yourself a favor and try one, I don't think you will be disappointed.

I have one it's 62" 47@28" and I pull to 29".I shoot GT 5575 with 100gr insert, 125gr point and gives me between 520gr to 530gr. I can't believe how flat shooting it is with this setup.

I had one for a while. The craftsmanship was perfect, and it is a good looking bow. It shoots with authority, with good speed and smoothness. I have small, skinny hands and I could never really get completely comfortable with the grip. I would think that the grip would be perfect for someone with average sized hands.

This is a beautiful, high-quality bow with all of the performance anyone could want. I didn't have the heart to attack the beautiful riser with a rasp to make it custom fit my hand so I let it go.

I bought one from a guy on this forum. I have to say it was very comfortable to shoot, good grip for my hand but it broke in half. The lower limb crushed the carbon belly lam at about half draw. I had probably shot the bow a couple hundred times. Although the bow was practically new when I got it, I have no relationship with the bowyer since I bought it second hand. A $700 lesson. I will not be doing business with A&H in the future.

Many an archer has found bountiful favor in the ACS CX.

I have 2 now, and would have more if the wife wasn't always peering over my shoulder when I'm on this site. One is a 41# for target and the other is a 52# for hunting. These are the best shooting longbows "that I have shot" and I have bought & shot a lot of them LOL. I haven't shot them all however so   . Like they say...very fast for the poundage, NO hand shock, take-down option (cary extra limbs) nice and light to cary, very simple but appealing looking and (knock on wood) never had a problem with them. Try one, you'll like it,....Lloyd

The ACS CX has been the go to bow for Adam and me for seven years. Adam likes the regular grip, I like the lower wrist JK grip. We used to shoot the 62" 3 pc and now shoot the 64" 3 pc. I had a 1 pc and foolishly sold it-another one is on the list for sure!
We have bought other bows in the interim and they always wind up on the rack or in the classifieds. I like the look of the 2 pc and that's on my list too!
Oh, almost forgot y'all want to know if we like them or not? We'll letcha' know.            

I have had a few of them. the one I have now is is the JK grip. smooth fast bows.

I have an all phenolic JK 62 inch three piece that is just fun to shoot and qualifies as a high performance longbow. One of the quietest bows I have owned.

I have a 14" riser with the RC grip, great bow very fast, light, smooth
I didnt like the origial grip and sent the riser back and they changed it to the RC for a $50 charge returned to me in two weeks.
Its my go to bow and will be going to Africa with me in June.
