I've been kicking around getting one of the metal riser Predators, and now see you can get carbon in the limbs. Is anyone shooting these and if so, what are your thoughts on them?

I am interested in this as well, Mike will know the performance difference, have you asked him?

I'm shooting a metal riser with the carbon limb. It adds stability to the limb and a little performance gain. A very smooth shooting
combination. The grip on the new riser is also very comfortable.

After having owned 4 different predators and I still have one riser and two sets of limbs, I've never shot one that was "UN"-stable or a dog.  I have shot both Morrisons and Palmers with and without carbon and never noticed a real difference (except the older non-carbon Palmer limbs shot the smoothest on that bow) I would try to shoot both before forking over any extra cash but I myself am not sold on any real improvement...............YMMV
Bowhunting is "KILL and EAT" not "Catch and Release".....Semper Fi!
