The boys and I will be headed out early to get our tree stands up and do some scouting in the morning!  That means October can't be far away!  We've got a huge piece of public land that we hunt on next door to camp and a lot of ground to cover!  I can't wait to get out!

I went out today and picked out some spots. Tried out my new pruning shears. It's so hard to wait for fall.

I think getting ready for the season is about as good as hunting in itself.

The prep work is half the fun. Got a new spot ready today, I can't wait!

We had a great time, we got six stands and a ground blind up and ready to go!  The only problem was that I got in trouble for getting home way too late!!
