Traditional Bowhunter Magazine had an article about a lady that hunted (quite successfully) with a 30-some pound bow and super heavy arrows.

I think the article may have been titled 'Silent but Deadly'.

Can any of you tell me where to find this TBM article.   If any of you have the issue with this article, I would be interested in getting a copy.

I have most issues from the last few years. You find out what issue and if I have it I will copy it and send it to you.

I searched and could not find it, prior to 2009, found another thread on the Internet talking about it, I did not find it in 2008, maybe I missed it.

It was about Janet George and several other women who bowhunt, mostly in Colorado but it has been a while. I will do some checking; I'll bet it was written by Connie Renfro.

I remember the article Lucas is referring to but couldnt find the issue in my TBM collection. Is this it?

Canyon, I don't think that is what I am after, though a good read.   I have a friend that desperately wants to find this article.   I vaguely remembr reading it in TBM, but, don't recall much about it.

Read that one a while back... very good read.

Just goes to show that hunting is a skill and not a piece of equipment.

I understand all of us are differnt in our strengths and abilities,  but why does it seem we always gravitate to the question, "what is the least, easiest, fastest way, I can get away with it".

Don't mean to offend,  sorry if I did.  

I always wanted to be a brain surgeon,  but alas I am not fully cognitively able to qualify, and I am a bit jittery with the hand movement thing anymore.  I wonder. . What is the least I have to do to be able to be a brain surgeon ?

Any volunteers to be my first patient ?
