Gettin ready to head to Maine

Welp, I'm getting my stuff ready to leave for Maine early Sunday for the opener of thier fall bear season. Going to hunt with Squapan Outfitters. I hunted with Tony & Lynn Bocher in 2010 and had a blast. I know that this year is going to be the same.

I'll be taking my Black Widow PCH 58" 57# @ 29" shooting 29" CE heritage shafts with 200 gr up front tipped with woodsmans.

I started this summer with a bear hunt in Quebec,and am ending it hunting in Maine. I thought that the 2 hunts would make the summer fly by, but instead, the wait for the Maine season made the summer drag on!

I think Tony has his new cabin all ready too. he was workin away on it when i went up moose hunting in Oct. Have fun and take some pics. Joe

Oldskool(Rob McDowell) will be up there with you fellas. We have been shooting over here at the house to get him ready for the trip. He is bringing some nasty Simmons heads and my KME for any sharpening he may need to do while up there in Maine. He is also bringing a Kodak play-sport camera to record some bears and hopefully his own hunt. Maybe you guys can hook up and get both your hunts on video!

Dang it. I really wish I was going now, but had to sell my spot because of work. I bet it will be a great time with all the Widdow boys too.
