I came across some APC aluminum 1616 shafts without inserts or points. Is anyone familiar with these shafts and or what type of point will work? I want to set these up for m daughter. Thanks in advance!

1616.. is that even a possible shaft or is my understanding of shafts wrong

ericmerg - 16/64 outside diameter, 16 thousands thick. Yeah they're 1/4" arrows but don't know if they're  still being manufactured? Inside diameter is .218 which you would have to have the correct insert with outside diameter .25. ********* may have inserts or ya may wanta contact Easton for inserts..... If I remember correctly they spine around 28 - 30#

I made some up for my grandsons and I put nibs target points in them.

I believe the only thing available are glue-in target points or nibbs. They are too small a diameter for inserts.

Benoli

Oh I didn't think of nibbs. I double checked and they are marked 1616. They should be the ticket if they spine in at #30. Thanks for the ideas.

How many you have and do you want to part with any?

Bjorn

They are still available and you use a 1616 point! You can order these from various sources. Excellent kids arrow; XX75 Platinum is available in 1616.

Don't shoot milk jugs with them. Bend in a blink!

I have them for my daughter, they are a bit pricey, check with an Easton dealer for inserts.
