hey folks i figure id share my simple DIY way to add weight to your carbon and aluminum arrows without buying new inserts or tapping the back of your inserts...

all you need is a nail of your choosing weight (mine is 50 grains) and your factory insert (15 grains)

then add a touch of hot melt to the head of the nail and attach to your insert

and TAA-DAA! your simple yet effective heavy insert

And that nail doesn`t shoot loose?

How do you put the insert back in the shaft without breaking it loose from the heat ?

the nail doesnt come loose and i use epoxy when putting in my inserts. but if you were to use a superglue or jb weld on the nail before im sure itd hold while you hot glue your inserts

Good idea if you can't get brass inserts for your size shafts. I would also think they would be hard to get to spin perfectly (if you are into that). Sorry to be negative on a good idea, just my thoughts.
