What's everyone taking this fall for black bear?  I just finalized my setup.  #51 Toelke Chinook T/D with SBD string and Thunderhorn quiver.  Will be shooting 29" GT 5575 with 250 gr. Broadheads, most likely VPA 3 blades.  Numbers come out to be a 570gr. Arrow in the low 160s, 22% FOC.  How about you?

I can't hunt bear this fall since I killed one this spring. Only one a year in Wyo.

Anyway, your set-up will be good.

I used a 52# Pronghorn, cedar shaft, and a whopping 125 grain Woodsman Elite up front and got a pass-through on my spring bear. He weighed 330#.

Still not sure if I'm gonna go, but if I do it will be a 58# Maddog recurve with AD Trad Lites with 250 Woodsman Elites. I'm lucky enough to coach my 10 yr old's football team so it makes it hard for me to get up to the mountains. I'm planning on hitting it during our off-week.
