Hey guys has anybody tried these sharpeners before? I shoot Deltas.Do they work? Thanks!

Brad Arnett

My buddy has one that he made for himself and I used it to cut the initial grind on some Magnus and Zwickey heads. It worked great and I  am making my own. I cut and put the jig together tonight and just have to pick up some files.

Orion

Works great.  Been using one for years.  Still need to do a little touch up at the point with a hand file.  In fact, a lot of Deltas are concave from front to back.  I usually take down the triple thickness point with a hand file and get a straight edge along the entire head before I put them on the file block.

I've been using the same one for the past 25 years.

I also have used them for years with very good results. Bought a KME this year so will see which is easier to use. BTW, am a Zwickey junkie.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

I have used them with theis fine stone  and leather strop on my 4 blade eskimos for years.
