Just got this in from Mike Yancy (Pine Hollow Longbows, Tradgang Sponsor, and all around nice guy who married way over his head)

Hey Mickey, here is a picture of the antelope I took last week in WY. I used a takedown osage 51@26 with carp skin backing given to me by Tim Ott. The head was a Woodsman on a cedar shaft. The goat will score 73 P&Y

Mike

Congrats AGAIN Mike      :notworthy:

This guy has found himself an antelope honey hole!

Mike Yancey

Thanks Mickey, it must be my lovley wife and the carp skins Tim gave me.

You really haven't hunted the old fashion way until you've done it from one of these Indian houses.(The Tipi) "Glenn ST. Charles"

Mike Yancey

Tracy, it took less time to build that bow than any other I have ever made. I had it roughed out before MOJAM and Tim Ott gave me a set of his carp skin backings and I knew I had to use it on an antelope.

I named that bow after a dog I just lost named Cheyenne, a tweleve year old Mountain Cur. She was the best dog that I have ever had, she would go stump shooting with Lisa and me every day. She would wait for me to shoot then follow me to the arrow and did this for years so I did the art work on the belly of the bow with her on the side of a tree like she was treed.

When the antelope came in I picked up that bow and spoke her name saying lets go shootin'one more time.

Good dogs and good bows are special thangs!

Congrats Mike!  You're a nose to the ground, eye to eye kind of bowhunter.  No surprise that you scored on a great antelope, but it's certainly a testament to your prowess.  Very nice!
