I wasn't going to post this, but what the heck.  This is an e-mail I recieved recently.

QuoteHey Chad this Lonnie Bailey, I shot with you in Mississippi at
Enid Lake. Any way I just wanted to say thank you for making a great
string. I've been shooting your strings for about 3 years and love them. I also won the IBO Traditional World shoot this year in Tennesse with one of your strings and wanted to say thanks. Lonnie

Lonnie SMOKED the MLB (Men's Longbow) class with a 536.  By comparison, a 530 won the REC (Men's Recurve) class.

Of course it was the string that made the difference...lol!  Still really nice of Lonnie to give the string some credit, although he deserves all of it.  Congrats Lonnie!

I know I'm very happy with my string, Chad and plan on ordering from you for my other bows as well.

I'm not a bit surprised.

You make great strings Chad.

Thanks!  I do appreciate the good word, but there's no doubt it was the man behind the string that made the difference.

calgarychef

Nice to hear of the big win!!  I won't shoot any other string but Chad's, they flat out rock.

LBR

Thanks again!  I goofed--that should have been MODERN Longbow.  Still a heck of an accomplishment.

Not only a great string..... customer service second to none !

Several years ago was out of state on a Illinois hunt and had a string blow up on me and not being a good Boy Scout was totally unprepared. No problem for Chad, he double timed me one right out to my hotel and I was back in the tree next day. Chad is good people in my book...  :clapper:

I have always made my own but now i am curious.

LBR....what goes into making a Champion Bowstring we novice may overlook?
Aim down your arrow because thats where it's going.

LBR

Joe, you aren't too far from me.  If you want to come by the shop one day and sit, you are more than welcome.  I might teach you something, you might teach me!

It's hard to say really--I've been making strings for about 20 years, and have made thousands upon thousands of them--a lot of the things I do I do without thinking about it.  You can't help but figure a few things out when you make that many.

Chad

joebuck

will do!! gosh , i think my material is 20 years old..and black and white....time for a change..keep up the great work.

Not surprised!
I still go back and review your DVD, and refuse to lend it out.
It's my way of supporting you.   ;)

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;

Lonnie must be one heck of a shooter to win the IBO despite that hemp rope connecting his limb tips.  ;)

(Just kidding, Chad)

LBR

Thanks again for the support--I can't say it enough.

Hemp???  Man, I ain't into that high-tech stuff!
