I was having some email conversation with Doc Nock (Thanks Dave!) about fletching, spine, etc....it prompted me to go down in my shop and re-discovered 4 1/2 DOZEN RRA SHAFTS, and A DOZEN TULIP WOOD FOOTED SHAFTS FROM RUSTY'S FEETS!!!!! Dang I didn't want to make any more arrows this summer....but here we go!   :biglaugh:

As an aside, does anyone know if Rusty is still in business?

Did you post that to make us jealous?  Your arrows are probably too pretty for a troll like me.  I do not try, manage to kill lots of rocks, and go thru a couple dozen shafts just in rabbit season. Cheaper shafts are more my style, but love to see master crafters creations.  Plz post pics

I have started to stain them, and wll post up some pictures soon, but no way are my arrows "master crafted"   :D

Mine are always relatively plain, with a flat finish....hunting arrows.

Some of the work I see on here is absolutely amazing. Beautiful arrows that I would be afraid to shoot!   :notworthy:

Pouring your heart into them shall permit them to germinate and to blossum into master pieces that you yourself may treasure.

Great find!!!

Hey buddy, wanna exchange shops?  Dang, RRA shafting brings back some memories. I used to use Paula and Cecil's stuff all them time right around 2000 and then I went down to the 'dark side' of carbon arrows for 7 years. This will be my second fall using wood again.  I'm glad you're having fun with it too Roger.

wow, how would it be to be able to "find" something like that.

You must have quite a few arrows "hiding" those things to forget they were there!

Post a pic when youre finsihed!

Hey Ray....your simple arrow recipe got me rolling again!

Elkbreath, I am blessed with one heckuva pile of arrows down there in the shop. It is pure laziness that prompts me to buy more....too lazy to sort out what I have!
