i counted about a dozen monsters in this pond yesterday. im gonna let my girlfreind use the gig and il be using my bow....

we got to the pond at about sunset and sat up under a cottonwood tree and drank a cold beverage waiting for darkness.

the big ones were sounding off in the quiet evening stillness,....and my girlfriend said whats that?

a coon!
he came to the pond and made his way all the way around to where we were sitting about 20 yds away, i lip skweeked to him to see if he would be interested in something other than frogs and crawdads,..nope! he looked but kept on his fastpaced trip around the pond.
then the owls started, thats just the coolest sound in the woods, i think!

it was to dark for any good video,
we were a little under powered for lights with our head lamps, but it all worked out pretty fair.

i let her go first with the gig and she missed two and said for me to go.

my first shot! nailed him.

she caught on pretty quick, and got her fair share of frogs.

YEP! im gonna bragg, I DIDNT MISS A SHOT, but did have two work there way off the arrow and in to the water.

A GREAT DATE NIGHT..
