One bow. One arrow. My ideal.

Sounds like Faith had a great time chasing them piggy's.    Great story and pics. Faith will be with me in April for spring Turkey in VA. I can't wait she is a great looking bow.
Thanks and keep promoting the great sport of bow hunting to our youth and friends.

Pigs are proving hard to come by this year.  Seems to be plenty of them, but nowhere near close enough.  Ms. Hope is sweet.  I will try to post some pics.

God Bless,

Beautiful bows! I sure would like to take Hope out but I think it's going to be to heavy.

Come on guys! This story is too important to go dead... No one is hunting turkeys? Groundhogs even?

Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.

Got Hope here yesterday and ran a few different arrows through to see what would work. I just got in from an hour of stump shooting and have decided on some 60-65 heavy hickory. I just got back from turkey hunts in Florida and Texas but have a few more places that I can go in April. I hope to have a story here in a week or so.

Go Mike. Looking forward to some bird hunting pics and storyline.

Going to MO. tomorrow for the season first week of season to hunt with Raghorns. Pictures to follow when I get back and hope some have feathers.

Just back from a turkey hunt in Missouri with raghorns. Weather was real bad with rain most every day. Had a few come but no big birds. Saw an albino hen and missed a jake by inches. We had a great time working on bows in the afternoon.

Here is one of the albino hen.

Here is Lyle with the bamboo backed hickory he made while I was there

Misses stink.....but they are part of the game! As long as you had a fun time, that is all that matters!

Mike,

An albino hen - that's pretty neat.

Any tips you have on what Hope likes for arrows would be helpful. I need to get some arrows together as she is a little stiffer and shorter than my other bows.

I have two turkey tags lined up for her in May. The birds have not really got going yet around here. It is snowing again today; not very spring like weather for them. It has them rather confused. I have some captive pheasants for dog training, and they just started to lay last week.
If man were to know everything in advance, there would be no such thing as adventure!
