I have never seen a take down Tice & Watts. Do you have any idea where I could see a picture of one, Joe?

I have not shot this bow more than about 50 shots. The string is looking kinda rough and I gave away all of my B50 a few years ago. One thing is for sure though I'm going to have to drop quite a few grians of arrow weight to keep the trojectory I'm use to. Luckily I usually shoot 12 grains per pound so I have plenty of room to go lighter on my arrows. The T&W is 62"53#@28". Perfect for hunting.I can hardly wait for deer season to get this thing to the woods.

Your right Bill...me neither. Hands typing faster than brain can think. All the pictures I saw were all one piece in the old Kittredge Catalog.

I seen one at Denton Hill a few years back but the guy was asking a ridiculous price...was a one piece also.

Love hunting with my Adcock ACS CX. Yeah you can buy an ACS, but not one made by OL.

Bought a Bear Alaskan "Halloween" bow with a tangerine or orange fiberglass belly.  Hope to hunt with it this fall.

Due to elbow problems following a couple injuries... I may have to drop down 5-6#. this fall..

That being the case, my beautiful 50# 1964 Kodiak will be spending lots of time in the woods and sage brush of the Pacific NW  chasing Blacktails, Mulies and Roosevelt Elk.

Green Mountain longbows. Have owned a half dozen over the years and was sorry to see Jim Duclos pull the plug on his bow business. His forward handle design, Stingray, is my favorite and still flinging 'em very quietly.

Yesterday,at the Sunflower Games archery event,I shot with a guy who had a Herter's recurve that looked brand new. It, and he, shot well enough to place 3rd in the Traditional FITA event for the Master class.
Might not be hunting but that bow is sure still "in the hunt"...

TOM COLE   Had  "Old Timer Long Bows" in the 80s  and 90s  Hill style long bow with just a touch of reflex.   He was pretty popular  back then . ( One of the original founders of ETAR also )  I still have three of his bows. The 74#er he made for me  out shot the 86 #er Big Five HH I had at  the time!
Great bows,  sorry he has not made them for years.  Tom and his son still maintain the  Pennsylvania Long Bow Hall of Fame!!

I am absolutely amazed, with all the copying going on, that no one has purchased the Tice equipment and  reproduced it with todays materials. The T&W TD. never made it past prototype.

I have a Sapphire Hawk longbow that is awesome.

Don't think they are made any longer.

I've hunted with my Herters perfection hunter but I have to change this year and hunt with my "trade bow"!

Good looking bows, Sergio. I thought about stripping the factory camo offf of this one but I'm afraid of what might be under neath.

Thank you bill; I also have a Titan Model 58" 53# , that has factory camo, i have often been tempted to remove the camo and see what is underneath. Great shooters for sure!

My Talon longbow is a sweet hunter.  Dave left us several months ago but had not made bows for a few years.

There happens to be a T&W Sparten Hunter, 58" 55#@28" on the auction sight right now ........but a left hander.  :archer2:
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

This Rasmussen Flatbow still does the job.

I own "6" Jeff Massie made "Longhorns"(Massie Archery,Inc.)three of them TD models. As "Ric O'Shay" and others know, the Massie "Longhorn" was top of the line. Sure wish Jeff was still turning out bows.  :notworthy:

joe skipp

I forgot about Jeff Massie....and I was a dealer for his bows. Sold quite a few, no complaints. His T/D recurve was a real shooter also.
