Need some assistance on how all this ILF stuff works.  Been looking at getting another Dryad and want to try the ILF Epic out.  I'm wanting a shorter riser (15 inch) and Im not sure how to figure out what limbs I want for it.  Would like the bow to be around 62in with longbow limbs and pull around 58-59 at 28in.  Everything I see has the limbs lbs on 19in riser, how does that transfer to a 15in riser?  Any assistance would be very appreciated.

Short limbs are 23". So 2 - 23", 15" riser (this is the distance between the riser limb bolt pattern - IMPORTANT, it my not have anything to do with the actual length of the riser) would give you a 61" bow.

Medium limbs are 24". 2 - 24", plus a 15" riser would give you a 63" bow.

Long limbs are 25".

ILF is measured from limb bolt to limb bold around the front of the riser not the total length of the riser plus the limb length. Depending on riser design, a 15 inch riser will have aproximately a 10 inch bolt spacing.

On my 15" riser, short limbs makes a 56" bow, mediums make a 58", longs make a 60".

I find it most simple to use a 25" long riser as the benchmark and subtract.
on a 25" riser
Long Limbs: 70" Bow
Medium Limbs: 68" bow
Short Limbs: 66" bow

These limbs are made different lengths not with not so much thought of the overall length of the bow, but the draw length of the shooter.
Most are designed to be in the sweet spot of the limbs at a certain  draw length.

I.E: Medium Limbs are designed for a 28" draw, shorts around a 26" draw and longs 30". Extra longs beyond that.

So, if you have a 28" draw, and want a 62" bow,
Medium limbs with a 17" riser, may be a better shooting bow than longs with a 15" riser.

For our 15" ILF riser you will need 55-19 XL limbs to make a 62" longbow. All of our risers add 3-4 pounds to the standard rated 19" limbs.

The new limbs will not work on the old Orion risers.
The new risers have a different limb angle and also a different limb pocket.
