The local creatures have been active around my house the last couple weeks, so i thought I'd share a few photos with you folks. Some of the pics were shot through the double pane living room window, so they're not the best quality.

This is a little piebald Blacktail buck I saw coming the driveway one morning at daylight.

Then one afternoon my son was outside working on an Adirondack chair when our house cat came running up all puffed out...when he went over to open the door and let her in the house he saw this bobcat coming around the corner, ON THE DECK! I got a few photos of him in the yard before he trotted off.

Have had this Blacktail doe and her baby hanging around for the last month.

Then last week I saw something out the front window and there were 2 elk calves playing tag and running back and forth.

I snuck out the back door and saw one of the cow's and a tall spike bull having breakfast. The cow was pruning the new growth off my newly planted apple trees.

NIce pic's, Ron! Way better than pink flamingos in the yard!LOL!
What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, men would die from great loneliness of spirit, for whatever happens to the beasts also happens to man. All things are connected. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the children of the earth

Wish I could see out of my windows all the time. I would have game trail cameras on all sides of the house to see what I'm missing when I'm not around. I really like those pics! Post more pics when you get take more.

I have one that gets into the garbage can now and then. You see the black compost bin in the pic with the spike bull...a bear stood on it a month ago and broke one corner.     :nono:
