The dust has settled from the 2012 season and looking back I can say it was a very successful season. Half of the bears killed were P&Y qualifiers, as well as some GIANT bears taken, and also numerous color phase bears.

I just received word that the biggest bear killed in camp, IF shot with a trad bow would have been a new world record.....yep, that's "IF".

After shuffling some hunters around for 2013 I have 2 openings. One opening May 19-24 which is week one for the year, and one opening for week two which is May 26-31. I have no openings for 2014 and one for May 24-29 2015.

Mike...I'll take whatever bait I can get my hands on! Problem with using your remains is that only the females would be around.....you old chick magnet. Would work good for the rut!

Man, I leave to drive to northern Michigan and look at all the activity.  And to think it was all done before I could play.  Ah well, at least I am in for 15 & 16.
