Looking for feedback on the Hummingbird TD longbows. How are they speedwise, smoothness, quietness etc? Will a 62" be smooth out to say 30" of draw? Thanks, Bob

They are one of the smoothest drawing bows out there. The cast is excellent and are normally quiet plus the the fit, finish and attention to detail are second to none. Talk to Ben about what he recommends on bow length for a 30" draw, he makes a 64" to.

Thanks Bishop, i have a 29" draw and like a bow to be smooth past that. Anybody else have feedback?

Bob, I draw the same and yes a 62 will be fine. I would recommend a 64 though. Just a bit smoother. I was up and shot with Ben 2 weeks ago. I fell in love with his one piece longbows and ordered a 64"

I like to say that of the best shooting bows that I have ever shot, about half of them were Hummingbirds. We are lucky to have a number of great bows available to us today, Hummingbird is certainly one of them.

Ben makes a really nice bow for sure!

Bob, if you ever get your hands on a Kingfisher takedown with a Kingwood riser, you'll need a couple buddies and a screwdriver to pry it from your fingers! The heavy mass of the Kingwood riser in Ben's longbow is just awesome.

I have a 60" lefty w/ 65@26 limbs that is a rocket. I just wish I were stronger!

. I dont own one..I'm a recurve guy...but I have put snakeskins on a few... lots of bows come here to be skinned and that is one longbow I'd consider. Very impressive.
Smooth is surely a good way to describe them. I draw 29 1/2 and the bows I have skinned have mostly been 28" and I have not felt any stacking on any at my extra 1 1/2 draw.

Bob I have 2 of them they are smooth my 56 @ 28" is only 57# @ 29 1/4", and 55# @ 27 1/2". I measured these on a scale. Mine shoot through the chrono at around 176-183 fps with around 9.5 grains per pound. I draw around 28 3/4". These bows are consistant and withstand a lot of abuse. I hunt over 120 days a year with mine and shoot 3D almost every weekend during the off season. I go through about 2 strings a year. You can't go wrong with one of Ben's bows. I have a Cocobolo 3 piece and a set of Hummingbird limbs I made a riser for. Best all around 3 piece longbow I have ever shot. Fit, finish, smooth draw, fast and the most important--forgiving to shoot. Three piece has enough weight in the riser to be very stable. Two thumbs up, Roy

They draw easy and shoot where you are looking what more could you ask.
