I have an 'itch' that needs scratching which is why the post.  I am very much interested in trying an ILF setup, however I want one with a metal riser and not intersested in waiting 2 - 3 months for a build.  So, what do you guys recommend and why?

Thanks in advance Trad Gang Gurus!

I have a 15" Morrison metal riser on the way.  I purchased 2 sets of used limbs to start out with; Sebastian Flute Glass/Carbon and a set of Winex.  Can't wait for the riser to get in and see how it handles.

I am sure Bob could get you a riser much quicker than 2 to 3 months.

Bob's got metal risers in stock, all lengths-- check out the Gen 3. Grips instock, too. Nice selection.

I have a Titan II on the way but can't comment until it gets here and my arm heals.

From my experience with the risers I'd go with a Morrison as my first choice and a Dalaa as my second.

I have a wood Zipper 17" and just got a Alum. Morrison 17".......I wouldn't be afraid to get a wood riser and Dryad has them in stock with no wait....fair price also!

I have a 17" Morrison gen 2 alum. I kinda like. Word is the gen 3 is even better, but wouldn't know.
Just wish mine was a 15".

I purchased a DAS Dalla two weeks ago and I have to say I love it. The Dalla shot great right out of the box and, I had it set up and in my hands in three days from three rivers archery.

I went with the Dalla because it can easily be shot off the shelf or from an elevated rest, I opted for the rest.

I have not shot any of the other brand bows mentioned above and I'm sure they are all very good.

I think the rest of my bows will be collecting dust for quite some time now.

By the way what ever you decide to go with get the foam core limbs , you wont be disappointed!

Thanks for all the replies.

By the way, I visited Bob this past weekend and shot one of the Morrison bows and liked them a bunch.  However, Bob is in the middle of tooling up for a Gen 4 riser through a new machining shop and not exactly sure when those risers will be available.  His delivery date appears to be longer than I am willing to wait, which is why I am out shopping.

I've owned and shot several different risers. I kept my Titan and sold the rest.

Try Sky Archery, Jim builds the DAS limbs and risers.

I've had my Dalaa for 8-9 months. I Love it, very smooth! With my long draw I have no problem with stacking. I think that is the best thing about ilf limbs you can pick what works for you.
I think any one of the top brands will work for you! I can tell what geat service I got from 3 Rivers archery. They let me change from a 21 in riser to the 17 in. and switching grips.
