i just got a used one and not sure if it would be safe for a f/f string.   i know somebody around here knows, thanks.

Huntingnut

Yep f/f is OK. I am 99% sure the string that is sold with a new bow is ff.

JRY309

Yes they are, they have been since they were first made.Martin/Howatt since I think about 1995 are FF safe, they have black fiberglass tips.I have used many different materials, but seem to like a padded loop 6 strand 450+ on my 55# Savannah.I bought m,ine new the first year they came out and still have and shoot it.

SCATTERSHOT

I've had two, and they both had FF strings.

Great bows, BTW.
