Well, the good news is since you'll be up all night for the next couple of months, you'll be able to get to your deer stand about 3 hours before first light...

Or do what I did, and just go hunting to curl up in the Pickup, for a little R and R....

Congrats to you and mom. Savor every moment.

Before you know it he will be stealing your socks from your drawer, shooting your ammo, fletching
his arrows with YOUR feathers, and shooting holes in YOUR 3-D targets. And if you think he eats alot now, you just wait.

You get the honor of showing him how to be a good man.

Java Man

Congrats Tim.  I'll get his Classic started soon!

GOOD JOB little Mama      That's a fine lookin boy. Believe it or not he weighs the same as I did when I was born so he could turn out to be a biggen

We used to make a Shrew longbow I called the "Shrew Lite", a scaled down version of the Super Shrew, we could make him one of those in a couple years.    :goldtooth:

Ron, that sounds awesome.  I will have to see what we can come up with when the time comes.  Thanks again guys for all the kind words.  The first time I got to hold him I jokingly said that he made it just in time for deer season and the nurse looked at me with the look of the devil!!  I think she seriously thought I would take him in the woods with me at 1 month old.  The wife and I got a good laugh out of her reaction.

When the time comes he won't want for a bow Tim. Jake will need someone to hand some down to so between your and Jeremy's boy, he won't be lacking for little brothers to inherit his.

Tim, that story about the nurse in the hospital reminds me of the time one of my grandsons was in the hospital for of all things an allergic reaction to a bee sting. All of my family loves wild game and my grandson especially liked bear meat so I brought a big dish of bear roast all cut up in little chunks. My grandson who was about 9 at the time was eating the meat like it was candy when a nurse walked in. She said, "what are we having here a picnic?" My grandson excitedly said, "Ya, my grandpa brought me some bear meat" The nurse screw up her face and said, "BEAR MEAT?....YUCK!" My grandson got a funny look on his face and later ask me why she had said that. I told him that some people just don't know what's good.      :biglaugh:

Goodbye Shiner you were always a good dog.
