First off I have used the older screw-in 145 gr Bear Razorheads my entire bowhunting life.

Now, a couple of questions about the old green glue-ons. What is the grain weight of the old Bear glue-on Razorheads? Who here uses the glue-ons? Are the glue-ons as strong as the screw-ins?

They were advertized as 125 grs with the bleeders.They may vary slightly in actual weight.Roughly 115 grs plus 10 gr bleeder.They are stronger because they are all steel.I used them for a lot of years,with and without bleeders.

I've been wondering about the razorheads too. I have a few laying around that are mixed colors. Going traditional for the first time, and I'm wondering if I should try some them or buy some zwickeys. I think I have a matching set of the razorheads in the gray color. Not sure how much they weigh.

JimB has it right.  The glue-ons weigh approximately 125 grs including the 10 gr. bleeder.  I also have used both the glue-ons and the screw-ins for many years.  Both work very well, and they're easy to sharpen.

My favorite head of all time, killed a bunch of critters with the glue ins (inserts as well when using carbons or allumininums). I very rarely use the bleeder blades as I like a 2 blade head.

I started off using them and still use them a lot.  I'm making some low budget dowel rod arrows for this fall that will have some leftover green glue ons on them.  They are a fine head.  A little light, in the 115gn range without the bleeder and around 125 with, but they work well.

Thanks for the replies. Thats what I was looking for. I cant tell you all how happy that makes me. I love the screw ins and was praying they would be in the 125 range. I am in need of a 125 gr heads for my new woodies I am haveing made by Wilderness Custom Arrows.

Now I just have to find some old green glue ons.

Yep, I have seen some as light as 112 grains without bleeders.  I glue in a 100 grain steel adapter, makes for a great blade.  I don't use the bleeders because I would have to modify the bleeders to get them installed because the adapter sticks into the area of the bleeder blade notch.

I have seen the bleeders modified to fit, but I have never done it....yet!

I have enough to last several years, never use the bleeders. I love em' and have some older than I am that are still sharp and kill well...

Does anyone know where you can purchase some of these heads? Does anyone still make them?

I am not awear of anyone selling the glue ons you will need to find them in the classifieds or on the auction sites.
