The glint of joy your Dad had shooting was terrific to watch.  What a wonderful thing for you to do for him.  Hope you and your Dad can have a bunch of fun shooting together.  Thanks for posting.

One more video, and a question; He's having a little bit of a problem gripping the bow due to his finger deformity.  If you notice his bow hand thumb how it turns away from the bow this is allowing the bow to slide around to his right and causing him to worry if the bow will slip from his grip.  Anybody have a suggestion to prevent this?

I've never used or seen one used, but don't they make a bow strap?  It attaches to the bow and goes around your wrist, I think.  You have a very loose grip in the bow and when you draw, you open your hand, and the strap keeps the bow from falling when you release.

I was surprised at how he made it look so easy after 40 + years of no shooting    He kept complaining that I had the bag target too close (18-20 yards). I'm afraid he's not going to be to happy with my shooting once he come over to shoot with me and he see me miss at that same range, I better get my TP fixed fast!

Man he hasn't lost anything after all that time and that 28# bow looks like he can hold it all day.

Soon I would imagine he will be able to shoot hunting weight bows and if your are lucky enough you can take him out again hunting. Looks like you ignited the fire again.
