Not the best picture but here are a couple I finished up. Sitka spruce from hilldebrandt.  They were very straight shafts when I got them but I spent a bunch of time getting them as straight as possible. These ones spin true in the cresting machine. I used a gold tip shaft for straightness comparisons and got these very close.  Im making two dozen and I'm making them all different as far as paint stain and cresting. I get bored trying to make them all look the same!

Thanks glynn. Still planning on coming down to your place for point tapers when I get a bunch ready.

Were you doing this batch with Daly's? What brand of paint did you use for your crown dip?

Bigbadjon yep they were dipped with dalys. I LOVE that stuff. The crowns were sprayed on with rustoleum. The cresting paint is a mixture of whispering winds and some cheap acrylic I picked up at Walmart. Everything worked just fine with no issues.

bigbadjon

I meant to say in a previous post that the only problem I've had with Daly's is a slight yellow tint on white dips. Most of the time it is almost unnoticeable but I think the type of paint may make a difference. Those arrows are pretty slick.

Very Nice Jon. I like blue arrows myself, they really stick out in the woods.
