Just got my new Crooked Stic bow - what's ya'll's favorite stringer?

The "Webster" is the best one I have used. It has two different size top loop for different size limb tips.

I've had good results with selway's limb saver bow stringer , both with recuves and long bows  

I prefer a stringer with two pockets, rather than a pocket and a "paddle". I am currently using a Bateman bow stringer on my recurves, with no complaints. They also seem to be preferred by many of the newer and less experienced archers in my traditional club, once they try it.

I do not use a stringer for my Howard Hill longbows--and I like that even better!

Webster for me. Go to Braveheart to get yours!

Webster for all my bows. Especially the heavy draw weight ones!

Selway  is all we recommend

I had made one that I always used. That is until I got my new Journeyman Recurve and Jared sent a Selway stringer with the bow. Now days I just keep my homemade one in my truck and it has come in handy more than once.

Every since I got the Journeyman I never use the stringer, I can't seem to put that bow down;)

Selway for me--I've used it with no problems on 80+ pound bows.

The stringers with pockets on both ends work well on some bows, but in my experience not so well with bows that have short/tiny tips.  Either the pocket covers the string groove, or it's got so little limb tip to contact that it makes me nervous.  Doesn't matter with the Selway.

Webster! Works with my recurves and longbows. It has two different pockets on the one end for the short and longer tips. Got mine at Braveheart Archery too.

When did Webster start making another stringer?  I had a custom recurve with those static tips, they are a b@#&% to string.

I learned the secret to stringing those. Websters are the best way to go with Static Tips.

I have had good luck with the Selway.  I have had poor luck with two pocket stringers.  I have not tried a Webster, it may be the cats meow!

Another vote for the Webster. For my heavier bows it is the only stringer I have used that doesn't scare me when stringing!
