I just got in the mail a set of Bobs new limbs the MAX1. All I have to say if you can get some of these limbs do it. Just awsome if you ask me. They are E limbs on a 17" ILF riser making a 64" bow they are 46lbs at 28" and they feel like 46lbs at 30.5 inchs. I am pulling over two more inchs and it still feel lighter. Most bows for me add about 4-6 lbs at my draw. And smooth baby smooth I cant beleave this I put it on my scale and I have 49lbs give or take. Hard to do with a hand held digital scale on a recurve. These are really the best set of limbs I have had in my hands, I have had some nice limbs come through my familys pro shop over the years and I have had the chance to shoot most of them. Between W&W, Kayas, Hoyts Samick you name it. I even had a set of Verra Limbs that retail for about $800. On my Morrison ILF and they did not do much for me I went with a set of Tomcat limbs from Kaya for less then $200 and thought they felt better. And I top of that Bobs a good guy to deal with just the best of the best. If you can try these limbs they are worth every penny they are not cheap but I promise you will get what you pay for. I hear people talk about wishing they could pull more weight well here you go if you cant pull more then 45lbs get some 50lbs limbs they will feel like the 45s. There are a ton of really nice bows out there and I have a few others myself but my #1 pick these days is going to be my new Morrison ILF with MAX1 limbs. I cant wait to get to the Pro Shop and see how fast they push a arrow out there it sure looks like they do.

Bobs always working on tweaking his products.  Glad to hear you love them.

Gary you are correct with your review on the Max 1 limbs, I have had a set of D"s on a Morrison 15" ILF riser for about 2 months now and they are the smoothest and fastest limbs I have personally shot. My limbs bottom out at 46@29.5 which is my draw. Bob has done his home work on these new limbs.

Are these limbs offered only in ILF? Not a whole lot of info on the web site.

They really do look nice. I will probably try to pick a set of those up in the future.  As you said, great guy to deal with.

I have a set of the new MAX-1 limbs as well.  Everything that has been said is the truth, One of the top performing limbs available, I have the "Med" limb 58" on 15" Riser, I thought this would be too short for my 29.5" draw but Bob assured me it would not, he was right.  I think I can draw it another inch without any trouble. Very smooth and really slings an arrow.  I cronoed it against several others I have in the same weight range, I'll just say this, you will not be disappointed.  Great Limbs, now if Bob can just remember where he put your order, you'll be in business.  RW
