Nick,thing is under the influence of adult drinks they can surely be controlled no problem,when they are sober could be a different story         .Like you said,they can be sent to check that 3 miles in swamp     .

We'd be the dream team of moose hunting. I'm tall enough to seem them over the trees, you're short enough to sneak under them to get a good shot  :D

And I could carry it out...I'll need you to carry our bows though!!

I've been going all out, pulling out the stops getting into shape for this trip, push ups( more than I normally do), ab work( used to own a great 6 pack at one time...lol

And I'm doing uphill hikes with my back packing pack loaded with 60-65 pounds, 3-4 times a week.
I'm on the hills for about 30 min.

I have a great spot we got to, very rugged, but very pretty and lots and lots of stumps, bring your maps, we can compare and plan.

Did a weathernetwork.ca check on Opasatika this am...3 degrees and fog...  GREAT moose weather.


long range shows a drying, cooling trend the closer to the 20th we get.

I'm betting it will be dry and cold at night, warming a bit during the day, then cooling in the evening.

Ya,nights are cool already up there,that's what we need.I like cool overcast days,anything to get the moose moving. Been working on some more arrows,should finish them by week end next week.

    Have a question for all of you... I have a few extra aprons in my kitchen.    
Don't forget the flagging tape so you don't get lost!!! Bring lots of arrows, I get the feeling that it will pretty easy to lose them up there in the dense bush.
    Would it be alright with everyone, if I sent some goodies for your trip.  I have a little time on my hands and baking is my therapy!!!    

    Maybe on one of your future hunting trips you will have the luxury of staying in a secluded lodge and a bring a cook with you to keep the home fires burning and  food ready when you come in.  Now that would be hunting in style, but I know you guys enjoy roughing it.     LOL!
