Thanks, Don. After what you said about how he grouses if you call to check on him, and I only got the "machine" when I called, I was torn about posting a prayer thread up for him once he was to be home today...

Such infections are nothing to mess with, but hopefully he's on the straight and narrow. If not, I trust Rose will sock him with a frying pan to get him to take it easy!

Just talked to Rose again. Bernie is still in the Base Hospital. She said He's actually enjoying the rest he's getting. She gave me his # so I'll try and call him later and give him all your best.
