How does it work for the unit? Do you pick after you have been drawn?

dnovo, you put in your first through 20th choice and are assigned to one of them if your name is drawn. Thanks for posting this Rich, I didn't realize I could apply online, I usually wait until I see the paper version at R&L.

What are the odds of drawing, and what percentage drawn (archery season) kill a moose?

Mike,I'm not really sure of odds.VT is pretty stupid with when it comes to Fish & Game anything.I've seen guys put in since they started the lottery and get no tag,and I've seen them get a tag two years in a row.Now that they've started the 3 year wait and bonus points I think it will be better.

As far as pop densities your best areas will be unit E and any surrounding unit next it E.I live in one of the few units with no tags availible.

Daniel and Chris,if you put in for the archery tag you have your choice of unit.
