I just received my first longbow yesterday. I bought it in the classifieds for a great deal and am totally satisfied. This bow is a rocket launcher and smooth as silk. 61#@28" and it feels not much heavier than my 50# recurve. Its a looker for sure and heck of a shooter. I have a Peregrine on order from Abe at the moment and bought this little bow to tide me over. I would highly recommend a Cari-bow to anyone. I'm shooting it so well it's going to the  3-d shoot in the morning!

Good for you my friend,Abe just seams to be upping his game more and more.I picked up a featherhorn a short while ago and its nothing less than fantastic.

I haven't had the opportunity to shoot a lot of different bows but by far this is the smoothest. I'm sure the Peregrine will be even smoother with an extra 2 inches. I'm definitely a fan of Abes now!

i recently bought a 44# slynx from Abe.

my bow before was a Bow River Archery 55# that i found tiring to shoot in my "sunset years".
the slynx is a nice bow that i can shoot all day.

hitting targets all day is another story , but "it's a poor workman who blames his tools"

i am a Cari Bow fan. great bow, very fast for it's weight.

I have shot it off and on all day and have thoroughly enjoyed this bow. I stated earlier that it was smooth and it is, but 61#s is 61#s and my back is on the tired side this afternoon! It is definitley a different feel than a recurve and can take some getting used to. I've always fancied myself hunting with a longbow so I'll need to put something on the ground with it to acheive my goal!

Congrats on a very nice bow Jarrad! I think Abe's bows belong to the top. I never shot a Slynx, but the Peregrine is one of the best bows I ever shot! And Abe's craftmanship is unbelievable. All his bows are works of art and real shooters!
