I'm looking for a good starting point for new arrows for a whisperstik mojostik.  My draw is 27 inches and weight will be 45 pounds.  I am not set on aluminum or carbon.  I would like to use 125 grain head and maybe weighted insert.  I'm wondering at what spine and length would be a good starting point.

KOOK68

I shoot same weight/draw. I'm using Heritage 150's w/100 gr inserts and 125 gr. tips. Work fine for me. Not positive on the exact length though.

If the bow is built for 45#@27" I think some 50/55 wood shafts cut to 28"bop would fly nicely for you with those 125gr field pts. If you are wanting to shoot more tip weight you'll go up in spine of course.
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

I would think a 500 spine carbon loaded up front would be a good choice.

What length and about how much weight up front for the .500 s?

Possum Head

On the 500's leave full length to start with and put in a 50 gr. insert with your 125. Slowly shorten to suit. I've learned to like full length. Best wishes!

I'd go with Gold Tip's Traditional Arrows. 5575 spine at 28.5" BOP with 125 gn field tips. Love those arrows

A lot of guys shoot on the stiff side. You could probably shoot 600s also
