I think that 55#er is too much for you, luckily I have a 50#er I'll trade you.   :bigsmyl:    :goldtooth:

Terry, Thanks for the offer but this bow has a home. If however, you want to sell that 50#er my buddy who shot mine last night might just be interested. Fred

Fred,

I took a double take when I saw that picture of your new bow.  Looks almost exactly like the one I had John make for me a year ago.  Coco Riser w/ Myrtle limb veneers.  The only difference in our bows is my leather grip is black - and mine's 60 lbs.  It's the best shooting and most consistent bow I own!

Nice bow. That style is a really fine shooter.

I've had almots all the different bows that John builds. They all have shot better than average.

My favorite are his Hill style bows. I have owned Hill style bows by Howard Hill, Northern Mist, Sunset Hill, Ted Kramer, Pete George, and David Miller.

From a shooting pleasure standpoint I would rate John's version right up ther with David Miller's as the best of the bunch.

Killed a nice buck with one this past season.

Enjoy that 59' copy.

Fred, I think I'll keep my 50#er unless I can find a 55#er (hint-hint) Your bow is really a good looker! Terry

Pete, Sounds like another beauty. I'm not sure what my riser wood is...someone said it might be chechen.

Jay, I'm loving that '59 Kodiak.

Terry, No problem. Thanks.

Here is Fred's 59' er. It is pretty unique as it is only one of three that I've seen that have the orange belly and brown back glass.

I've owned two of those. I love them but they are too short for my long draw.

Darn Fred,

I really should have bought that one     :readit:        ;)

Make sure you contact me first when you decide you like your Zippers best and the 66 Kodiak is the only one you'll keep in your stable.

Another Big River 59'r that I once owned. It to had the orange and brown glass combo and sculpted tips. 53# @ 28". This design is really easy to make quiet without having to use big silencers and super heavy arrows.
