Good stuff! Same process here but I finish with a wheelie instead of the jewel stick.
This stuff ain't no rocket surgery science!

Thanks Andy, now my VPA tipped Kinetics will blow through animals even faster!   :)

Good stuff Andy.  I do pretty much the same thing with Woodsmans, and it works great on them too.  I had seen your reports on the VPA's and plan to switch to them for the fall hunts.

In the end, it is not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. Abraham Lincoln.

Doesn't look like it could get much simpler than that. Thanks for this. I've seen the posts of the hole these heads make and am going to be ordering some soon. I'll get a 12" file while I'm at it.

I have three 175s that are going to Wyoming with me this fall for Elk. I now have no doubt that they are a wise choice. Medium diamond stone them japanese water stones-600/1200 grit, then stropped on leather.

The other 3 in my quiver will be Zwickey deltas.

Very nice video!  I haven't used three bladed heads for over forty years, but I think I'm going to give them a try this fall.  I've often wondered about the sharpening method for them.  Thanks for sharing!

That's pretty much what I found works, but it took a while to get that first sharpening to take.

Nice patch there.   ;)

Mine were the sharpest three blade head out of the package I have ever seen. Didn't take much time at all to make them deadly sharp.

The ones I had were not the KME pre-sharpened.  Had to get a good grind going.  The new ones look like they will be a lot easier to get there.

These are Vantage Point Archery Heads Limbender... I think you have them confused with the Grizzly's or something else.

These come with a very accurate grind strait out of the packet, plus they are so tough you end up using them again and again.

Nope - I hunt with VPA's and watched your video, but I was wrong that the new ones are KME sharpened - it is the Wensel Woodsman Elites (basically same head) from 3 Rivers that are KME sharpened. Sorry for confusion.

I am a little sharpening challenged, so it took me a while the first go round to get them really sharp, but they are pretty sharp out the box.
