Well my wife and I was finally able to test the bow. She said it shot well except for it being a little heavy for her. From what I could tell it was a very smooth shooting bow with very little hand shock. The grip didn't quiet fit my hand but I know that is some that could be fixed. I was very impressed with the bow for it to be only 44lbs at my draw length.

I put it in the mail for the next person yesterday.

Mailed the bow off today, before lunch to Mike Wieldman. Really enjoyed what time I had with the bow George.
I really liked the way it was packaged. Also the two strings and tools for putting it together and the stringer. What I pulled from the bow sock was beautiful. I called my friend Ray and we agreed to meet at storage to shoot the bow, since we have been having major downpours. The day we shot the bow it was raining. But given the 20 yd access under cover worked out fine. Now I am not one to reinvent the wheel but get the basics and go from there. No!! I didn't and don't weight my arrows. But what we were shooting was POC,#55-60, with 125 gr tips. The first arrow Ray shot was dead center. The tail end was kicking up so twisted the nock down and eye balled it. We didn't get to spend a lot of time but managed to keep all 3 arrows within a dollar bill of each other. I liked the grip. Ray mentioned if we had the time to tune it to our liking we could be knocking nocks. Adjust the brace height, set up 1/2 dozen carbons

adjust the nock. No doubt at all about hitting game. The wood and finish on the bow was great. Would have liked to have gotten it a week earlier or kept it an additional week for 3D shoots. But, I,m hoping Mike gets to take it on his hunting trip. I don't know what else to say. Nice looking bow shoots well and wouldn't mind putting it with my other bows. Pleasant to shoot, no noise and with carbons probably fast. Of course I shooting woodies, it still was zinging them. Thanks again George

OK finally got back home and got some time to test this bow.  I did not take the bow on my antelope hunt as someone mentioned - i was really shooting my Habu well and did not want to mess with that a couple days before my first trad hunt.

So i will break this down into a couple categories:

Grip

The grip was way too big for my and what i am used to shooting.  The riser is wide and the grip is comfortable just not for me.  I did have a friend shoot the bow and he really liked the bow - so this is truely preference only.

Draw

The draw on this bow was very smooth and did not stack at all to my 30" draw length. I would have no problem shooting this bow with my 30" draw, even though it was only 60".

accuracy

when shooting this bow at 20 yds and under i found the bow to be VERY consistant.  i was amazed at how well i was able to group my arrows with this bow. All of these shots were with fletched 5575's.  When i went out past 20 yds i was not able to shoot this bow consistantly - i am attributing this to the very light weight of the bow and my shooting skill level.  someone that could shoot consistantly would probably have no problem.  i would need the bow to be much heavier to by consistant for me - i am comparing this weight to Habus and Schafers that use ebony and cocobola woods.

noise

although the bow was not loud by any means - i would not classify it as quiet.  The bow kind of reminded me of my widow and has a very distinct "crack" on the shot.  maybe with some bow hush and or velcro on limbs it could be made more quiet.

fit/finish

This is a difficult category for me - the bow is well built and finish looks good.  I would not put it in the category of a Habu, schafer, or  Tall Tines but the bow is half to a  quarter of the cost!!  So when you do a fair comparison this bow is built well for the money.  I would not use the gloss finish on my bow, but i am sure george was trying to make it "pretty" for a pass around.

Overall

This is a well built and solid bow.  I am positive that with more time to play this bow could be made quiet and is obviously a consistant shooter.  I would order this bow in a very dense wood to make it heavier and also look for a more slim line grip.
