For the most part I am grateful for the vast sponsors here that I have bought from. But as we have issues with buying and selling on the classified section here, I have to say I am a bit miffed about a recent transaction with a sponser.
I'm not going to name them but from other threads here, they are not the swiftest in filling out orders.
My problem is that they were happy to take my money quickly but when it came time to fill the order out, they are taking a sweet time of it.
I wouldn't of minded a bit if when they accepted my cash they could of told me items were not in stock and how long it would take.
When I called a weeks after placing the order I was told the order was being shipped. 2 weeks later I call again and I was told that the items were boxed and they would call me and let me know when shipped. I get an email and a phone call that the items were shipped Priority. 5 days later, Nothing.
I really like their items and respect their contribution to their sport, but I will hesitate to do business with them again. Good business policy is Customer First, or am I asking too much.

Sorry that is happening to you.  I've dealt with 8-10 sponsors here and I am happy to report nothing but perfect and ultra-timely service.

I'll single out two, BigJim and 3Rivers seem to fill my order as I'm typing it up!

One fellow mis-filled an order with the wrong size brass inserts. He corrected it immediately and even sent a cool, short-brimmed camo hat. It was so well camoflauged that I soon lost it.

I just ordered some arrows from a sponsor and their web site says they ship the same day, they get the order. I also ordered the G nock bushings, G nocks and points they didn't carry, from a non sponsor. I got the inserts, nocks and points the day the sponsor shipped, three days after they got the order. I paid for USPS priorty shipping. If I had needed the items badly, I would have been upset. I am glad some trad suppliers are doing so well, they take 3 days to ship, in these bad economic times. I'm confused Don. How long after you placed the arrow order did it take for you to get your order? How long after the other order was placed did it take to get your order? How far did the orders have to travel? Just curious.

Trust me I have dealt here with some of the very best, Craig Ekin, Bill Dunn, Dan Toelke, Ted Fry. Orders filled as requested and any hint of delay, they were more than upfront. And I'll be the first to understand things happen, but when you say it shipped and it didn't or it's in stock and it's not, that's not good.

I couldn't agree more. Customer service has gone down hill these days. There are still a lot of good ones out there though. It just seems like it used to be the norm and now it's the exception.

I will definitely seek out and spend more for great customer service for the same product...I don't know how 3-Rivers is as quick as they are and the product reviews are invaluable in the decision making on a product. Kenny's Custom Archery is another one that cannot be beat for awesome products, great price and customer service.

At this point I'll be happy if I get my items before May 1st.

I had the same problem with sponsor/seller on here. I was told it would take a week and 1/2 to make and to ship. a month later I finally got my product. I love it but I would not buy from them again. I kept being told it shipped this day, and then it will ship soon. drove me crazy.
"instinctive archery" is more like playing the violin. Without practice you may remember the mechanics, but you will not be a virtuoso.

There's a difference between things coming up and lying to the customer to get them off of your back.

Saying somethign has shipped multiple times, then admitting it's still in your shop is not "things coming up".

I feel your pain.  I have a dozen arrows I have been waiting on for a year and a half from one of our sponsors.  The last time the guy actually answered the phone or an e-mail, or a PM from me was many months ago.  I was told last November AND at the end of January mine "were in the next batch".
