Good luck.  Opening day for 2012 turkey will finally be upon us.  I feel sorry for the ones still waiting.

Yesterday before lunch I took in an extra blind based on past years' experience.  I'm glad I did.  With very little sign around, I was comforted by a continuous, screaming gobble about 100 yards from where I was.....at 11 am on the dot.  Here we go.......

Yeah! I'm headed to camp here shortly after my buddy gets out of work. I'm pumped!

Good luck to everyone and I hope I have some good stuff to post when I get back! Woohoo!   :campfire:    :archer2:

I'm heading to Illinois in the morning for first day on Monday. I have a new strutting gobbler I mounted 3 weeks ago where the tail goes up and down by a string going back to the blind. I had a mounted hen and gobbler out there last year. It was awesome. Good luck tomorrow guys.
