Just was wondering how many of you hunt with Bear Archery Grizzly. New or old production pictures of them.

Bowwild

The first bow I bought with my own money was a 56" Grizzly back in high school. I bought it for $60 new from the Trueflight shop in Monticello, IN.  I sold it to a classmate in college when I switched to compounds in 1975.  I couldn't use it today if I had it because it was a RH bow and I switched to lefty in 1995.

Spring turkey will be a mid 1970's Super Grizzly

Last fall was a 1962 Grizzly.  Can't see it in the pictures but this bow has diamondback skins on it.

I switched to LH in between these two.

My new to me 68 Griz will get some time in the woods this year.

I stared with a 69 Griz. this one is close. I shoot it well and just plain like it!

I have 3 Grizzlies, 2 mid 70's and a 63....I would hunt with any of them!

Istarted with a bear nad my son hunted with until a limb twisted. I now have 2 and love them. one was a gift from my son to replace the one I grew up with. Than you Charlie for getting me back in to Traditional.

'73 Grizzly. Hunted with it for a season. Great hunting bows.

I used a mid 70's 55#er last December for some wild boar hunting, shot a boar and I had a pass through using heavy arrow and ff string.I lost the pig though because a neck hit, followed the tracks for 1/2 a mile and it kept feeding with the rest of the gang.Bow made its job though.

My first traditional kill was a hog with a bear grizzly. I was stoked,
is it September yet??

Killdeer

I started real bow hunting with a 1970 Grizzly, 55 pounds, gifted me by a special friend. Grizzlies don't often get the respect they deserve. They are a blue collar bow. They do the grunt work, and do it well.

Charlie - when you get "tired" of that old Grizzly, send it my way!!!  You know how much I love the tigerwood bows!

You have a great example of what nice Goncalo Alves is supposed to look like!

I hunted with one of mine this morning. An early 70's 50# green and black for the first day of turkey season in WI.  I love Grizzlys and own several, old and new. A steady, eddie in the Bear world.

Not yet, but I've got a LH 66 griz that is 58" 62# @ 28" that I plan on taking hunting for it's 50th birthday.  Wouldn't mind getting an 1962 in the meantime.  Probably better for my draw length.

I was starting to think no one hunted with them! I think they are the most under rated bow out their. I'm surprised that more Super Grizzly aren't responding.

Love my 66 Grizz . I can always just pick it up and hit what ever I want with it. Including deer !

Over the years I have owned several grizzlys and have five on my wall now. They are a very good all around bow and will do very well as a hunting bow.   I"ll be taking my "68" Grizz on my a        Caribou hunt this fall.  Ben
