I brushed by a tree the other day and a low lying limb made a half inch scratch in my copperhead skin on my top limb.. It didnt make it all the way down to the skin (that i can tell) but it s deep enough to hang a fingernail on.. How could i buff it out or re- seal it?? If I need to do anything at all??thanks GBH

I'm no bowyer but I have patched scratches and dings with super glue in the past. We'll see what everyone else says.

You can get a little acrylic paint kit at Walmart for $5 and mix the colors together to get a match to your skins. Then paint with a little artist brush.Let it dry a couple days a nd spray with Deft or Minwax. I like Minwax clear poly wipe on best. If you mix your color right the sratch will disappear.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!
