The set up I use for everything:

58# @ 28" Schafer Silvertip with 5575 GoldTip Traditional shafts with 100 grain brass inserts and a 125 grain Magnus Stingers
Keep the sun at your back and the wind in your face.

Just wanted to say 2 toms gobbling their back sides off this morning behind the house....11am. NY late season opener sucks. May 1st....

Anyway...Sitka Spruce Arrows, 160 gr Snuffers will rest in my Cat 3.5 quiver. Will alternate between my new Fedora(52#) and my old Browning Cobra(55#). "Lefty" and "Righty"....should be fun. Let's get pumped....

"Neal...is this heaven?" "No Piute but we are dam close". Top of the Mtn in Medicine Bow Nat Forest.

RLA

1962 Bear Grizzly 62"45#@28"  MJ Log glass arrows, Muzzy Phantom 4 blade 125gr. Or  Muzzy 3 blade 125gr. Finished arrow # 590gr.  Not a blazing fast set up but very quiet and forgiving, just a fun bow to shoot for me!  I have put some of the old Bear camo limb covers over the white glass limbs for turkey season.
Good luck everyone and be safe with the shotguners in the woods too!

RC

HH Tembo with Wilderness Fir arrows and Simmons Tiger Sharks or Woodsman heads.RC

54" Rivers Edge Arroyo 51#@28". Heritage 150's with 200gr. Woodsmans up front. Have to wait til May 2 to May 8 which is my time period here in Wis. Starting to get fired up. Good luck everyone.  :archer2:

Hey therEKen time will be limited, will give it a try with the Big River with cedar shaft and 100 grain 2 blade broadheads.
Charlie tell you about what happened to most of the bucks on the farm?

Dad those Rib Teks Rafael sent you are 125 Grain.  Great Broad heads unfortunately they are only in Australia now. Still available but you pay for shipping.

They should fly great with your cedar shafts and Big river bow.

Earl,  Good to see you back.  Guess you will add to your wall of longbeards.

Joe, stop teasing us, season doesn't start for another Month, you know just before the fall season starts.   :nono:

I have a month before I completely decide.

Was thinking 46lb Griffin Longbow,  Douglas Fir Shafts with 130 Stos up front.

And No, I didn't tell Ken about the Bucks, I hate promoting A holes that feel the need to poach and steal wildlife!
Relax,

You'll live longer!
