I'm planning to do a little feather splicing for the first time. All the feathers I've ever bought varied a bit as far as the thickness of the quill. That will add some work to the splicing process. Do any of the sponsors here sell feathers that have been ground a little more exact? Or do I just have to do some sanding of my own?
