My Holcomb 59' 60".....47#@28" is my #1 go to bow. Very smooth and very quick. My #2 would be my 62" 1968 Wing Slimline Vantage Pro....43# at 28". A super-natural pointer  and a sheer delight to massacre 3-D's with......john

LONGRIVER ELK 62" LONGBOW 53#
1967 WING 62" SLIMLINE 43#

My Wesley Special Hill bow. 68" pulling 65# @ 28" draw.  My backup bow is also a Weley with these same specs.

My best handling bow ever has been my Quillian Bamboo Longhunter, but at 78# draw weight, it is just more than I can easily pull now.

When I want to have fun plinking, shooting 3-D, stumping, etc, I always shoot one of my longbows. If I want to KILL something I pick up the Brackenbury Quest. It is "The One".

My Bob Lee T/D L.B., 47@27, first bow is always a special bow. It's goes through alot, stick it in the ground when I ground hunt. Walking stick when I went caribou hunting, still clicking and shoots where I look. A great bow!

I try not to let my mind wander...It is too small and fragile to be out by itself.

Got a nice Silvertip that I'm getting used to....love my 2 Zippers, But my go to bow when I want to shoot well and have the confidence to do so....River Runner by Chad Holm, nothing fancy, black glass,43#@28" 60", I draw 29". I also have a bunch of other real nice bows but the River Runner is my go bow.

Nope, Not even close. I'm an un abashed bow lover . I like most of em. I got married to a woman. Never to a bow.

God bless you all, Steve

Jack B Harrison Siberian Wolf. Absolutely, the best longbow I have. Followed by my other Harrison's and Thunderhorn.

Honestly, I can't pick just one.  My Leon Stewart 62" Slammer Special 1-pc. is so much fun to shoot.  My other is a Pronghorn 62" 3-pc., which is very stable in hand. Grips are a little different, but I have no problem switching. Both are 45 lbs. @ 28" (using the same arrow for both.) During the year, I use both for stump shooting, 3D.  Hunting season, I've always used the Pronghorn.  Might try the Stewart this year.
The work praises the man.

Morrison Cheyenne. 62" 63#@31"
I can get away with not shooting a bow for a couple of months, pick up my Cheyenne & within 3 arrow be drilling the 10 ring. I've hardly shot anything else, other than my fishing bows, for the past 3 years.

for many years my go to bow was a 55# 62" century 21 longbow.  I killed a ton of stuff with it.  elk mule deer, whitetails, rabbits, and   hogs. Over the years I've bought and sold a bunch of nice bows and even though I've retired the 21 C, I've never ever even considered selling it...EVER.

My Tomahawk is my go to bow. I love the way it shoots and it fits my hand perfectly.

My Hummingingbird Alpha male .. nothing fancy with this one .. in fact just droped it in the rocks and added a few little charactor marks on it and didn't even sweat it. Just picked her up and continued shooting her. She just fits

It would have to be my Astro II. With its black alloy riser and green limbs, not much to look at. But she is smooth to shoot and puts arrows were I'm looking. Have taken a lot of game with her. Got it new in 1975.

Bigfoot R/D longbow, 62# at 29in. fastest, smoothest bow, I have ever owned.

I have four of them. Most bows made today will shoot fine with perfect form on a target range. What make a "Go To Bow" for me is that I use my bows for hunting as we all do and when I find a bow that I can put my hand in the grip with the weight of the draw high, low or even a little off to one side or tilt the bow around and bend my body in any way and it still shoots an arrow well that's what makes a bow a keeper for me.

I am going to have to go with my DAS Daala recurve.  Smooth , fast, takes down quick. Just feels like a third arm.
