I took my grand nephew Liam and his best buddy Padon today to a 3-D shoot at Hawkeye Bowman's Club here in NY. Both boy's are 4 year's old and shoot Maddog Pup Recurves. It was Padon's first shoot and Liam shot with me last summer when he was 3.

At registration they told us to make sure we stop back in before we leave with the boy's for they had some things to give them. We did and they gave both boy's a archery trophy, yellow ribbon and a candy sucker. Boy, you talk about making two little guy's day! Not only did they think shooting all the animal targets was the coolest but to get a trophy an a ribbon on top of it, it was a real surprise for the boy's.

Thanks to all at Hawkeye for giving the boy's a great day!!

That's really cool. With any luck, they're now hooked for life.

I was at the shoot with some friends, they gave a trophy and a ribbon to both my friends little girls. They really go the extra mile there to include children in the sport, there was a sign stating that if your child wanted to shoot and had no equipment they would supply it free of charge. Big thumbs up to the folks at Hawkeye Bowman
