Welcome aboard. Glad to have you here!

Welcome to the campfire.

May as well share my only experience with a Robertson was at the PBS banquet in Seattle. Dick most generously donated a bow that was a true piece of art. My wife kept kicking me under the table to quit and I was beat out by Don Thomas. oh well that one got away however the black and blues on my shins are still there.  :gold tooth: I hope Don enrolled that bow it was a stunner.

I just spent about an hour elbow to elbow with Dick at PBS going through a trailer load of figured myrtle. He got there before me and already had quite a stack of beautiful wood. Once that stuff is dry, he is going to have some really beautiful bows coming out of his shop! Super nice guy...even though he made off with most of the best stuff!

Dick Robertson and the rest of his family are just awesome people! Back in 2003 Dick was the guest speaker at our SD bohunters state convention. Not only did Dick generously donate his time but he also donated a custom bow to be built to the specs of the winner of a bow raffle at our convention. Not having previously had much luck in drawings I was absolutely floored when I was the winner of that bow. Dick did an incredible job on that bow and it is one of two bows I will never part with!  I shot the elk in my avatar with that bow and my biggest whitetail.  I have owned other Robertson bows and was dealing on another used one just the other day.  Any way I want to say welcome aboard to the Robertson's!!!

This is a picture of the beautiful bow that Dick built and donated to the SD bowhunters organization along with the buck I shot with it that first fall.

To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.
