So I really love shooting my mohawk. And can take game from 15yrds and under with confidence. But it will not fit in my blind. I have a 58 in recurve that will. But I just want to shoot the long bow. I just can't put it down. I guess I need to shoot the recurve in the blind for turkeys or just go with the longbow and go without the blind. And get a ghillie suit. I am planning on getting a bigger blind for next yr. Has anyone tried using burlap spraypainted camo. As a front cover type blind. This is soo much fun to me. The problems we have right. lol

I'm really looking forward to turkey season either way. Longbow or recurve. Hunting those thunderchickens it a ton of fun. Thanks for hearing my rant.

My vote is for a leafy suit. I don't like sitting in a blind or carrying one.

Thanks Rob, I'm kinda leaning that way. I think Cabelas has them on sale for around $70.

Make yourself an "on-the-bow" blind.

Here's one I made.

It's very easy and cheap.

I love that Mudd!

As far as leafy suits go. I really like being able to get off work and just throw the leafy over top of whatever I'm wearing and go. Some turkey seasons and early Oct. I just wear shorts and a t-shirt under it.

Have you taken an animal with that bow blind you built?

No! But I could have, neither coyote saw me fake draw on them at about 5 yards.

Had the season been open I'm sure I would've been posting pictures of at least one of the two.
