Well done, Rick!  That's a great idea, plus the price was right.  Looks to me like you have a lifetime supply of arrows, too.

pallets are awesome free wood for the taking. Great vision to see an arrow rack in a pile of pallets! If you know of a lumberyard or distributor that bus pallets of vinyl siding, it often comes Wrapped in 2x6 rough sawn hickory and oak. they will often thank you for hauling them off.

Nice work and if you feel like making another one I really need something like this! Let me know and I will buy one from you.

Staining pine can sometimes come out blotchy so you if you use a sealer first, that will usually take care of that issue.  Pine will also darken with age and turn a real nice honey color on it's own without any varnish or anything.

A lot of time went into building that arrow holder... Looks Great!

Very nice Rick      I use a lot of pallet wood for projects too.  Looks like you have lots of work ahead of you though with all those shafts to get fletched up!

Before finishing your project apply sanding sealer and will really help solve the blotchyness problem with pine.
