I think I am over spined but wanted more of experience than I have.  Just got a new Black Widow CHX 58" 51@28. I am pulling 26.5" so I'm figuring it's about 46-47 lbs at my draw.  My other bow is a Hornes combo hunter with recurve limbs 55@28. I have my Hornes tunes with CE Heratige 150, 28" arrow with 100 grain insert and a 150 grain tip. I did have help with this set up and the bow is shooting great.

When I got my new bow I shot some bare shafts with my set up for my Hornes and was nock left.  I then ordered some new 150's and 50 grain inserts and thought this would work. After working on one arrow I am down to the aluminum inserts and 125 grain heads. After cutting the arrow as much as I can I am still nock left.

If I am understanding this correctly I need a lower spined arrow Heratige 90 and start over. Thanks for the input.

Your arrows are weak. Widows are cut past center, requiring more spine.

build your strike plate out a 16th and try again.

If my arrows are too weak then I need lighter tips correct?  If building out strike plate doesn't help then do I need 250's. Brain is getting fuzzy.

Prairie Drifter

yep, lighter tips or build out the side plate or stiffer shafts

Cool thanks. Hope I can find an easy swap with these arrows. Shouldn't be too hard.

I'm shooting 30.5" Heritage 150's out of my PCH X at 50 lbs, 125 gr. tip and they bare shaft tuned great with the standard Widow plate. Flew like a dart.

If you're right handed, nock left is a weak spine, nock right would indicate over-spined.  I think you could make a 150 work for you.
I shoot the same bow with 150's...only longer (30.5") with just the insert and 125 gr. tip and they fly very good unfletched at 50# draw.  Of course, shooting style and release play into the equation a little too. I do have a toothpick piece stuck behind the arrow plate.

Spent about 3 hrs so far playing with my set up.  Got heavier shafts different points and inserts.  With everything I ended up raising my nock way higher than I initially did and thats all it took.  Lesson learned for sure.  Again this is my first time tuning a bow alone and have learned a bunch.  Set up I have now is CE 150's cut to 27" with 200 grains up front.
